Our Farming Philosophy

Our farming philosophy has been built around raising food: the best quality, healthiest food, that we would want to (and do!) feed our own family. Thus our farming practices are based around ‘the way farming used to be’. ie- sustainably and naturally raised products. Not only does this method of farming raise healthy and happy livestock, but it also provides the best nutrition possible (for our family and yours) and supports the genetic diversity of heritage livestock.

We try to source the most naturally grown, healthiest feed ingredients for our livestock. We custom-mix all of our feed on-site to ensure the best quality without added hormones, animal fats, and other by-products.

Who We Are

We are a small thirty five acre farm in a crisp high mountain valley of Colorado, dedicated to the raising of our four children and to the traditional farming and preservation of heritage breeds of livestock.

As stated in Genesis 22:14, “…On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

We recognize that we have been provided this land and these animals. As such, with the utmost respect and responsibility, we are faithful in the exceptional stewardship of these provisions.
